Registration is now OPEN for the 4th Annual SERC Doctoral Students Forum (SDSF) and 8th Annual SERC Sponsor Research Review (SSRR), which will be held at the 20 F Street NW Conference Center, located in Washington, DC on November 16 & 17, 2016, respectively.
4th Annual SERC Doctoral Students Forum (SDSF)
The SERC Doctoral Students Forum provides an opportunity for doctoral students conducting highly relevant, systems engineering-related research at any of the SERC collaborating universities to present their research in an open forum. Students can present regardless of whether or not the research was conducted through a SERC initiative. This half-day event drives high impact by exposing the attendees to research that they may not have otherwise encountered. A networking reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres will immediately follow the event. Attendance is open to government, FFRDCs, national laboratories, industry, and academic institutions.
- Submissions for nominations of doctoral students to present their research at the 4th Annual SERC Doctoral Student Forum have been EXTENDED to Friday, September 16, 2016 by 5PM EST. This form must be completed by the nominating professor.
8th Annual SERC Sponsor Research Review (SSRR)
The SERC Sponsor Research Review is a premier, one-day research conference highlighting over twenty ongoing SERC research projects, several of which are ready for pilot use and early transition to practice. Researchers from the SERC collaborating universities will discuss their research, highlight results, and describe opportunities for government agencies to sponsor and participate in their projects. Those from government agencies, FFRDCs, national laboratories, industry, and academic institutions are welcome to join SERC researchers and students for a stimulating exchange of ideas.
Industry participants are charged a flat rate of $250, which provides admission to all events.
