Dr. Paul Grogan serves as Assistant Professor of Systems Engineering in the School of Systems and Enterprises at Stevens Institute of Technology as of January 2016. Previously, he was a postdoctoral research associate in the engineering systems division at MIT. He earned his Ph.D. in engineering systems from MIT and holds a S.M. degree in aeronautics and astronautics from MIT. He was awarded an NDSEG fellowship in 2010 and in 2014. His research studies the collaborative design of systems using interactive simulations (games). Past research domains include logistics of human spaceflight, fractionated and federated spacecraft, and infrastructure at city and national levels.
